Life is learning how to dance in the rain.
There are many days where I feel like I “should” be doing something productive (ANYTHING) but no matter how hard I try, I find myself getting distracted and doing everything except the very task, perhaps the only task that I set out to do.
And then, comes the thinking over and over, why am I going in circles? And then, another attempt and another and another until I’m “attempted” out. It then becomes such an issue of the day and I’m still not getting any further! Now, I laugh, but during these times, it’s just not funny! Especially, on sunny days!!!
Though these seem like non-productive times, these moments are when you can notice many things going on within. What are your emotions? How do you talk to yourself? Are you nice? Are you gentle? Do you say mean things to yourself? Do you take it out on others? It is so important to “note” how you’re treating yourself on these; I like to refer as, “rainy days”.
One of the first things to do is NOT to take life so seriously. Do the best you can and move on. If you are stuck and feel you cannot go on, still continue not to take life so seriously. Realize that some days of course are easier than others. Look at the world around you. There are seasons in everything! You observe where many things are growing and many things are dying. However, remember that every single thing is just transforming into something else. The molecules are still in motion. They keep moving!
So, with this being said, do your best, don’t take it so personally if you can’t seem to get anything done, and then, BE GENTLE WITH YOURSELF … ALWAYS!!!
I’m sharing a video here where I was feeling a bit numb because of worldly issues. All I could do on this particular day was to a catch the sunset, to feel the “bigger” picture instead of the smaller issues in my head, and, to sit on the sand with my two dogs, CoCo and Skylar and think of my thanksgivings. Mainly because, I was in one of those days where I couldn’t get anything done so I did what I could do and this was it. I also reached out to my Six Figure Mentor educational community and was so very happy that I had them and have them whenever I need. I am so very fortunate as I believe everyone can be as well.
Life moves on and we along with it … might as well learn how to dance, especially on rainy days!
I have learned to do my digital business with the attitude of dancing in the rain no matter what!!! The Six Figure Mentors (SFM) and Digital Experts Academy (DEA) educational “real-time” platform has taught me invaluable lessons not only with my digital business, but also lessons for a successful and authentic lifestyle.
